Janus – the visionary new DOUBLE album from Base Mosquito – takes its name from the Roman God that symbolises new beginnings, transitions and endings.

Known also for his representation of duality, the two-faces of Janus inspire us to embrace both sides of human experience; good and evil, love and fear, looking both at the past, and to the future. 

Base Mosquito’s music explores a deeper level of individual sovereignty; celebrating the power of the human spirit and the journey within. 

This album represents an amazing transition of personal growth and emotional development for every artist involved. Each performer poured their heart and soul into the work, and every tune has a meaningful taste of the artist’s unique personal journey. 

During production of the album, we lost close friends to depression and disease, and tracks were written especially for those lost loved ones, so that their hope and their light may live on. We pledge a percentage of all album proceeds to cancer, mental health and environmental support (onetreeplanted.org).
